"We were introduced to Balckhawk Bank on a recommendation made by our Realtor. Our financing through a big bank was colapsing right before us, so our Realtor intervened on our behalf. Based on her consistant, reliable, up front experience with Balckhawk bank over the years, she advised us to speak with Tammy Zurfluh.
Tammy became our mortgage planner, and really impressed us with her thoroughness, integrity, and knowledge. She treated us like a member of her family. We felt cared for and educated throughout our entire home buying experience. Tammy took the time to explain each and every piece of the mortgage process, and we knew what to expect along our journey.
Blackhawk differs from other banks with the respect to treating people like people rather then like numbers or statistics. Blackhawk has made it easy to manage all of our banking needs, even needs we may not have anticipated (i.e. investments). The mortgage process was such a pleasure that we also opened a couple of deposit accounts as soon as we could. We completely switched over from the big bank,and we're happy to have all of our accounts with Blackhawk. We've made Blackhawk our bank since February 12, 2010 when we called Tammy to speak about our situation.
